Bells on New Year’s Eve & New Year’s visit to a Shinto shrine

Would you like to try the《Bells on New Year’s Eve & New Year’s visit to a Shinto shrine》 with us?

We will go to the temple & shrine for it with our guests on 31th Dec 2019.

“Bells on new year’s eve” which is called Yoya no kane in Japanese.
Bells are rung 108 times at temples around midnight on New Year’s Eve.
The number 108 is said to correspond with that of bonnno, or worldly desires. Buddhist monks ring bells 108 times to expel bonno.Japanese people hear the bell-ringing, welcoming the new year.

Then, we will go to shrine after that.
